How your body is assessed
Pain is often only one part of the problem.
The body works as a system, where movement, strength and joint function all influence each other.
During your assessment, we look at how your body moves and where it isn’t functioning as it should, rather than focusing only on where symptoms are felt.
Who this is for
This is for you if you’ve been dealing with pain that isn’t improving, or keeps returning.
If something doesn’t feel right in your body, even if you can’t clearly explain it.
Or if you want to understand how your body is functioning and where it could be improved.
What to expect
Your first session is focused on understanding your body in detail.
We begin with a comprehensive medical history, including previous injuries, treatment, lifestyle, and any relevant scans or investigations. This helps build an accurate picture before any testing begins.
A full clinical assessment is then carried out, including movement analysis, joint testing, neurological screening, and physical examination to understand how your body is functioning and where issues may be arising.
You’ll leave with a clear explanation of what’s going on, and a structured plan outlining the most appropriate next steps.
Where appropriate, further screening is carried out to rule out non-mechanical causes.
